Brown’s Enterprises is currently looking for laborers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction. Driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to work outdoors year round and perform various tasks as required for General Contractor specializing in site work, utilities and concrete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest level of Safety and adherence to all Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Take and follow direction from Foreman/Superintendent
  • Responsible for completing all assigned tasks safely, in the time frame given
  • Responsible for the Safety of his/her fellow crew members
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements of Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and 30 pounds to above shoulder level throughout a scheduled work shift.
  • Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.
  • Position requires acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing.
  • Must be able to use hand tools including shovels, rakes, battery powered tools and other tools upon request.
  • It also requires the ability to reach, lift and perform work above shoulder height—and the ability to work on uneven surfaces and in confined spaces.
